Seasonal eating


The benefits of eating fresh food in season

Most of us have grown accustomed to having out-of-season fruits and vegetables available year round. That means they're being shipped, possibly thousands of miles, to get to our tables. Eating seasonally gives us what the body needs for specific time of year. It usually tastes much better than food that's been shipped a long distance too!
